Centrica Storage (CSL) will, with immediate effect, be able to sell new types of storage services at its Rough storage facility, specifically services offering bundled storage and entry capacity to the UK’s National Balancing Point, and services delivered to and from its Easington facility both with within-day and day-ahead variations.
Bruce Walker, managing director of CSL said: CSL has developed these new storage services in response to requests from market participants for entry paid products and for the freedom to choose the level of flexibility required. We are pleased that Ofgem has accepted the proposed changes to our storage contract so that CSL can now provide customers with more choice on the type of storage service our customers would like to purchase.
