Petrol sales reportedly fell by 9.3% to 139 liters, while diesel sales experienced a 7% increase to 245 million liters in January 2008. Sales of kerosene and light heating oils also decreased by 27% and 22.9%, respectively.
In January 2008, jet fuel sales increased by 0.8% to 71 million liters, while marine gas oil and diesel sales recorded a 21.7% decrease to 113 million liters. The combined sales of petroleum products in Norway reportedly decreased by 0.9% to 9.7 billion liters in 2007.
