The recovered diamonds include 17 diamonds approximately 0.6 carat size and eight diamonds larger than one carat.
Said to be the largest to date, the three diamonds recovered are 4.42 carats, 4.16 carats, and 3.53 carats of greenish yellow cubic aggregate, intense yellow cubic aggregate and pale yellow cubic aggregate respectively.
The company is processing the sample at Microlithics, to recover commercial sized diamonds of more than 0.85mm.
The resulting diamonds will assist in indicating Q1-4’s overall diamond value and the diamond content of the sample, size distribution.
It will also identify whether yellow diamonds seen in earlier-stage sampling continue into the larger diamond sizes.
North Arrow president and CEO Ken Armstrong said: "Overall diamond recoveries to date are in line with expectations for the sampled area of the kimberlite and we look forward to completing final processing of the sample in April and submitting the resultant diamond parcel for formal valuation."
