With the permit now in hand, the bore underneath State Route 23 in Chenango County, New York will begin immediately and is scheduled to be completed in May.

When the Route 23 bore is completed, Norse will begin to flow gas from two wells, which have been awaiting pipeline since year end. This completes another pipeline connection and allows Norse to expand production into the Town of Plymouth and the Town of Preston in Chenango County, New York.

Oivind Risberg, CEO of Norse Energy, said: ”I am very pleased with the diligence and teamwork of our employees, that pave the way for completion of another major pipeline connection that expands our gathering pipeline system further south and brings us another step closer to our longer term goal of connecting with the three major interstate pipeline that pass nearby our acreage position in central New York state.”
