Throughout his nearly 21 years at Nordson, Bruce Fields has been an outstanding contributor to our success, stated chairman, chief executive officer and president Edward P. Campbell. A valued advisor, Bruce has been directly responsible for development of the diverse global workforce that continues to be a key competitive advantage for Nordson. It is also through Bruce’s efforts that Nordson has developed a strong group of leaders across the organization that is prepared to drive our success for years to come. We thank Bruce for his many years of service to Nordson, and we wish him a long, happy and healthy retirement.
With Bruce’s retirement, I am pleased to announce the expansion of Shelly Peet’s role in the Nordson management team, Campbell added. Shelly has proven to be a capable leader in a variety of assignments since joining Nordson in 2003. In addition to leading Nordson’s global human resources function, Shelly will continue to direct the company’s global information services, corporate communications and community affairs functions. Our team congratulates Shelly on this exciting new expansion of her duties.
