Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has been awarded a €47 million contract for the construction of the Vicari wind farm in Sicily.
The wind farm will comprise 15 turbines with Nordex also responsible for constructing the access routes, the foundations, the cabling and the substation.
A further three turbines are currently still in the permission-granting phase.
Including this option, the contract will have a total value of around €55 million.
The order comes from ERG CESA Eolica.
