Nordex has received its largest Italian order to date, worth around EUR 80 million, to supply the Minervino Murge wind farm in the Puglia region.
The wind farm is owned by Eolo 3W Minervino Murge, a subsidiary of Falck Renewables. The contract provides for the delivery of 26 N90/2.3 MW turbines with work on the project due to commence this month.
Operations are scheduled to begin at the end of February 2008.
