The electromagnetic (EM) conductors, which were confirmed by Aeroquest International in a recently completed airborne VTEM and magnetic survey, will be tested during the radon survey.
RadonEx Exploration Management will carry out radon survey and will comprise approximately 1,000 sample locations over a 16km strike length of the Cable Bay Shear Zone (CBSZ) on the 20,637ha property.
Within the CBSZ, numerous offset and disrupted EM conductors were identified during the preliminary interpretation of the recently flown VTEM and magnetic survey and are associated with cross cutting structures depicted by magnetic lineaments.
Following completion of radon analysis in four to five weeks, lake sediment samples will be submitted to SRC Geoanalytical Laboratories for analysis, which includes a 63 element ICP-OES, and uranium by ICP-MS.
Additional work for the spring and summer 2014 being planned which includes a detailed high-resolution airborne gamma radiation spectrometric survey (radiometrics) and followed by ground prospecting and geochemical sampling.
