The company said proceeds from the transaction were $117m and included final closing adjustments from the effective date of 1 January this year.
Noble Energy’s North Sea operations, which began in 1996, include offshore areas in the Netherlands and the UK.
Production began in early 2007 at Dumbarton, and the first well at the nearby Lochranza field was tied into it at the end of 2009 and the second well added in mid 2010.
Noble Energy has core operations onshore in the US, primarily in the DJ Basin and Marcellus Shale, in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, offshore Eastern Mediterranean, and offshore West Africa.
