The transaction includes the 668MW Calhoun Energy Center in Eastaboga, Alabama; the 507MW Blythe Energy Center in Blythe, California; the 98MW Cherokee Energy Center in Gaffney, South Carolina; and the 879MW Doswell Energy Center in Ashland, Virginia.

An affiliate of NextEra will continue to operate three of these facilities for an initial period of five years and the fourth facility for an initial two-year period.

NextEra continues to own and operate a diverse mix of clean generating assets in 23 states and Canada, with a combined capacity of more than 17,072MW.
