The Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation (Lilama) is planning to complete a feasibility study for the 6.1MW Nam Soi hydroelectric power plant by the end of this year.

According to the Vietnamese News Agency, the construction of the plant is expected to start early next year in Son La province, at a cost of US$6.25M.

Lilama is also planning to conduct a feasibility study for the construction of the 5.1MW Nam Cong hydro plant, also in Son La province. The plant will be built at a cost of around US$8.44M.

The company will also build the 5.5MW Sardeung hydro plant in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong.
