The Vietnamese government has approved the construction of a new hydroelectric power plant in Quang Nam province's Hien District, according to the Vietnamese News Agency.
Work on the project will start in November and will be completed by 2008. The plant, which will cost US$253M to construct, will generate 807MkWh of electricity each year.
