Currently, the company is seeking approval of their environmental permits while working closely with the local environmental authority.
The company will submit environmental permit application for coal production while the approval of the work plan accelerates this process.
New Colombia Resources president John Campo said that the company is making the right contacts to develop over 4000h of mostly metallurgical coal.
"The approval of the work permit by the ANM is a huge step forward in our efforts to begin coal production," Campo added.
New Colombia Resources will begin extraction of raw building materials in the next few weeks following permit application approval.
