With an investment of NPR20m (€148,080), the feasibility study will be conducted on 49MW Dudhkoshi IV in Solukhumbu; 86MW Madi-Seti reservoir project in Kaski; 32MW Myagdi; 50MW Beni-Kali in Myagdi, 30MW Upper Sankhuwasabha and 25MW Sankhuwasabha.

DoED communications officer Gokarnaraj Pantha told The Himalayan Times that the government had earlier awarded the feasibility work to private sector, but has canceled those licenses following unsatisfactory progress by them.

The department has already started feasibility study on 12MW Madi Khola project in Rolpa; 13.5MW Mauwa Khola in Taplejung; 8MW Ikhuwa Khola in Sankhuwasabha; 12MW Kabeli III in Taplejung; 13MW Chepe Khola in Lamjung; and 5MW Doti Gadh in Dadeldhura.
