Navajo Wind Energy Corp. (Navajo Wind) has appointed Oliver Stiles as its senior vice president (SVP) of finance. Stiles has more than 20 years of experience in finance, strategy, accounting, and administration, and internal and external compliance. Currently, he serves as a business advisor and consultant for developing strategic plans for many startup companies involved in the biotech and renewable energy industries.

Previously from 1995 to 2003, Stiles worked as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Nonthaburton Group, Inc. While at Nonthaburton, Stiles was responsible for overseeing the entire spectrum of the day-to-day financial activities of the company.

At Nonthaburton, Stiles was the driving force behind the evolution of the corporate finance and accounting departments. Prior to that, Stiles served as a senior business advisor at Sydney Business Development Center, from 1991 to 1994. t Sydney Business Development Center, he provided services in business strategies, business planning and marketing implementation for more than 500 companies in different industries. Stiles received a postgraduate degree from the University of New South Wales.

In his new role, Stiles will report directly to Barry Doyle, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Navajo Wind. Stile’s responsibilities will include directing and managing the corporate finance and investor relations departments of the company.
