Natco noted that this award represents the largest refinery crude unit desalter project for it from a US refinery, and marks its entrance into the US downstream market.

Additionally, Natco’s Linco Electromatic petroleum measurement subsidiary in Midland, Texas, has received a purchase order to provide a refined products metering terminal for the Port Arthur expansion project.

This contract consists of five skid packages and is designed to meter the increased production of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and other refined products that the expanded refinery will produce.

Patrick McCarthy, Natco’s president and COO, said: This important project builds upon our legacy of providing equipment and technology to the upstream industry for over 80 years, and delivers on our strategy to penetrate the US refining market with technology solutions that refiners need for improved processing of today’s heavy crudes.
