Energy services company Mustang, subsidiary of Wood Group has won a detailed design and procurement services contract from Hess Corporation for expansion of its Tioga natural gas plant in North Dakota,US.
The project aims at expansion of the facility’s capacity from approximately 110 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) gas to 250 mmscfd.
Mustang will provide design and engineering support for ethane recovery, full fractionation and sales of natural gas liquids.
The work on the design contract is expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2012.
