Carried out by RadonEx Exploration Management, the radon survey comprised 1,399 samples collected over the 10km length of Maguire Lake.

The highest radon in water increased from 573 picocuries per litre (pCi/L) to 669pCi/L.

Of the total samples, 33 had results more than 100 pCi/L, 13 had results greater than 200 pCi/L, seven samples had results greater than 300pCi/L and four with more than 400pCi/L.

The survey reported seven priority one drill targets and five priority two drill targets with all centred in the radon in water trends thought to be indicative of bedrock-hosted uranium mineralization.

The drilling of the high-priority targets is scheduled to begin in the coming days and around 40 holes will be drilled to test these anomalous AlphaTrack radon targets.
