Under the terms of the agreement, the team will integrate CCP’s existing photon-induced plasma arc gasification system with Aurora’s multi-fuel combustion system.

The two systems will jointly convert carbonaceous waste to syngas, which will further convert to electricity.

CCI co-founder and chief operations officer Ryan Skinner said: "Combining these two unique technologies allows us to create a cutting-edge solution for waste conversion and electricity production that is unmatched.

"We are just as excited to work with a partner that shares our core value of making the world a better place for future generations."

Aurora chairman Paul Peterson said: "We are pleased to be working with serious, dedicated partners like Carbon Cycle Power, and to include ‘gasification systems’ to our list of applications."
