Morocco’s state electricity company, Office National de l’Electricite (ONF), has issued three tenders for force conduits, civil engineering and turbines for the construction of the Dchar el Oued-Ait Mesaoud hydroelectric station. Two remaining tenders will be issued in early 1999.
The 92MW scheme will cost an estimated US$103.2M in total.
Partial funding has been secured from the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development and from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
