Before joining this company, Armstrong served in that capacity at many semiconductor startups including Summit Microelectronics, Reflectivity and Arithmos. Armstrong’s wide industry experience incorporates management roles in the operations, process development, engineering and wafer fab management at the Western Digital, Hughes Semiconductor and Intel Corporation. Armstrong holds a B.S. in Physics, and also an M.S.E.E., and an M.B.A. from University of California, Irvine. He has published 10 papers in manufacturing and the technical journals, and holds 12 patents.
Hills’ wide industry background incorporates senior sales management roles at large semiconductor companies including Dialog Semiconductor, Cirrus Logic and AMD; and at new start-up firms comprising IC Media and Silicon Motion. He also served as the director of North American Sales at the ARC international. Hills received a B.S.El. from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
The company’ new CMOS Harmonic Oscillator (CHO) technology enables a new era in the frequency generation, attaining unprecedented accuracy levels with the CMOS-only oscillators, and matching the performance requirements of new common high-speed interface links. CHO technology enables new mainstream electronics to finally be rid of last non-CMOS component, a quartz-based resonator, and attain the high levels of integration.
