The plant in the Hokkaido prefecture is expected to be operational by the end of March 2014, reported Bloomberg.
The Japanese plant will use locally made solar panels. It is expected to generate energy enough to power more than 6,600 households.
Mitsui Fudosan also has plans to build a13MW solar power plant in Yamaguchi prefecture and a 17MW plant in Oita prefecture.
