The partnership requires Mitsubishi and Endesa to leverage their respective knowledge for the development of EV technologies that can help realize a low-carbon society, reducing dependency on fossil fuels and lower CO2 emissions.
The F/S that is scheduled to continue until the end of March 2011 will cover introduction of Vehicle to Grid technologies and EVs, building EV related infrastructure and functionally expanding EV operations in harmony with other energy management systems.
The project, which will also study the potential deployment of EV infrastructure to other areas such as the EU and Latin America, will begin with preliminary trials once the joint implementation agreement on these aspects of the study has been finalized.
