The DG500 project is the first installation of Minesto’s unique marine energy technology in utility scale. The project is planned for commissioning and operation in 2018.
The contract comprises the installation and hook-up of three significant Balance of Plant components:
Concrete Gravity Base Foundation Structure,
Buoy containing a Micro Grid and Communications System, and
Power Transfer Fastening comprising of the top joint, tether, bottom joint and subsea umbilical.
