Initially the program has set before itself to check continuity of mineralization on the southwest side of the deposit, to better define the extent of high grade mineralization at depth in that area, and to test a recently-identified geophysical target, as its objectives.

Apart from the primary area of mineralization some selected areas in its vicinity have been identified for surface exploration including soil geochemistry.

Spread over 2500 hectares of land, the La Estrella property is situated in the Department of Huancavelica. It is a region that has been known for silver mining dated back to the 1500s.

Serviced by a good network of roads and electricity the project site is within 30 km of the Julcani Silver Mine that has been operating since 1955.

Currently in an advanced exploration project stage, the La Estrella property is known to contain volcanic-hosted epithermal gold-silver system with associated base-metal mineralization.
