MPS India is being created through separation of the power systems business unit of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries India.
MHI said it aims to further enhance its response to the needs of India’s growing power generation market and to expand orders from the country for its power systems products, including gas turbine combined-cycle power generation plant and its component.
The company has already established two joint venture companies with construction and heavy machinery firm Larsen & Toubro to accommodate India’s expanding demand for coal-fired power plants.
