Mesa intercepted 7.5ft of 0.21% U3O8 in drill hole M1 and 4ft of 0.47% U3O8 in drill hole M2 at 630ft, as previously announced.
The current drilling program will test for extensions of this uranium mineralization and geochemical targets identified in previous sampling programs.
In 1980 during uranium exploration at Moonshine Springs, Pathfinder Mines and Exxon Minerals discovered a 4 million pound U3O8 deposit, which is located within 2 miles of Mesa’s project and is owned by Dennison Mines.
Results from the drilling program are expected in three weeks.
