The 5.66 metric ton/day LO-CAT unit, provided through the Merichem Gas Technologies business unit, will be integrated into the overall processing facility, with a proposed start-up date during the third quarter of 2011.

The LO-CAT unit will be treating 25mmscfd of amine acid gas with an H2S removal efficiency of greater than 99.9%.

This will be the second LO-CAT system to be installed in the Haynesville Shale play.

LO-CAT offers a flexible H2S removal process available that directly converts H2S to elemental sulfur.

LO-CAT maintains the same H2S outlet, regardless of changes in sulfur capacity, gas flow and H2S load, without adjustment to the system.
