Mercury Solar Systems installed 1MW of ground mount and rooftop systems at sites in Talbot and Frederick Counties.

The projects included a 550kW ground mount system for the Talbot County Community Center based in Easton, and a 499kW rooftop system for Oakdale High School in Ijamsville.

Talbot County Department of Parks & Recreation director Rick Towle said the solar project will produce a significant amount of clean energy for the community and reduce electricity costs by 50%.
