A range of quick connect MCBs has been launched by Hager, which the company says will provide consistent connections with a minimum need for tools for installation. Cables can be installed or removed from the spring-loaded connection at the push of a button, increasing the speed of installation and guaranteeing connection integrity.
All quick connect MCBs incorporate a test socket, which provides protection to the installer against accidental direct contact with live parts. According to Hager, both solid and flexible incoming and outgoing conductors can be used with the MCBs.
MCBs are available in single or three phase configurations ranging from 6A to 16A with B or C type characteristic curves.
