MaxWest Environmental Systems is planning to implement the MaxWest Biogasification System at two new MaxWest facilities in the US and China.
The system will avoid landfilling nearly 100,000 tons per year of biosolids waste, benefiting about 376,000 people in the surrounding areas.
MaxWest intends to expand its operations through the construction of two facilities that process biosolids waste using the MaxWest Biogasification System, providing a sustainable method for the management of biosolids waste while avoiding landfilling the energy-rich material.
The facilities in Maine, US, and Guangdong Province, China, are expected to be commercially operational in the fourth quarter of next year.
MaxWest is engaged in providing biogasification systems for the wastewater treatment industry.
