The project will be completed in 27 months. This 2x150MW power project is the second phase of the total envisaged 1920MW being setup by Simhapuri Energy. Simhapuri has been allotted land for the second phase and the financial closure for this phase is in the advance stage. The company has obtained environmental clearance from Ministry of Environment and Forest.

Madhucon is engaged in generation of power through hydel, thermal and gas resources, and has planned to set up 5000MW power generating facility within next five years.

The company has been awarded by the government of the Indian state of Uttarakhand three hydro power projects of 25MW each totaling 75MW expandable to 100MW on build, operate and transfer basis.
