Under the contract, Linde’s engineering division will start the engineering and construction of the unit with an immediate effect.
The company estimates to complete the contract by the end of 2018.
Linde Group engineering division’s member of the board of directors John Van der Velden said: “This award adds to Linde’s winning streak of Syngas & Hydrogen Solutions (Hydroprime) for the renewable fuel industry.
“Linde’s ability to deliver unique single-sourcing supplies provides St1 with a cost-effective solution supporting their advanced biofuel production."
Linde is a major company for the complete hydrogen generation process including manufacture, recovery, purification, storage, liquefaction and transportation.
Recently, Linde Malaysia, a member of the Linde Group has announced to invest €30m to expand its gas and liquid production capacities to meet growing customer demands in Malaysia.
The company said that it will construct and commission a new gas and liquid producing air separation unit (ASU) at its site in Hicom Industrial Estate.
The expansion project is expected to be completed by 2018.
