Preliminary metallurgical studies have been completed on drill and trench samples of Kookaburra Gully’s high grade graphite mineralization.
The company collected three 70-100kg bulk samples from drill cuttings and trenches representing, respectively, the upper 50m (Sample A) and 50-100m (Sample B) drill intervals, and outcrops (Sample C) of the Kookaburra Gully deposit while ALS Metallurgy Laboratories processed the samples.
Metallurgical flotation tests on sample A yielded a 91.2% recovery of contained graphite into a concentrate averaging 94.0% C (93.7% TGC) and on Sample B yielded 98% recovery of contained graphite into a concentrate averaging 95.0% C (94.3% TGC).
Australian minerals explorer Lincoln Minerals is primarily focused on multi-deposit graphite and iron ore exploration and project development across South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula.
The company’s portfolio also includes quality copper-lead-zinc-silver, nickel-cobalt, uranium and gold projects in the same province.
