The solar farm, which covers 21 acres, is located between the villages of Kirton and Tuxford.
Biosar Aktor built the solar farm, which is estimated to generate enough energy for about 1,100 local homes.
Biosar Aktor will also provide operation and maintenance services for the project.
As part of a land management plan, Lightsource planted new hedgerow around the site featuring native species of field maple, hawthorn and hazel.

"Early 2015 will see a strong focus on development for Lightsource as we stride towards our impressive 1 Gigawatt milestone."
Lightsource Renewable Energy, which was established in 2010, has worked in various solar power installations on ground and rooftops throughout the UK.
The company provides full service capability from initial design through to long term operations and maintenance.
