Lightfoot will make a direct investment and own a 48% stake in Arc LNG Holdings, which will own a 20% stake in Gulf LNG Energy’s terminal in Pascagoula, Mississippi, US.
GE Energy Financial Services, directly and indirectly, controls its 50% interest in Gulf LNG, while a unit of El Paso Corporation controls the remaining 50% and is the operator.
The GE unit has also acquired a general partnership interest and a 58% limited partnership interest in Lightfoot from certain of its existing investors.
Lightfoot is the general partner and majority owner of Arc Terminals, an operator of petroleum and refined product terminals.
