Jotron has augmented its range of marking and distress lights with a rugged pocket-sized emergency marker light.
Waterproof to a depth of 30m, and weighing just 150g (including batteries), the AQ-5 was originally developed for fishing and work boat deck crews as an emergency light for overboard situations. It has two separate light sources – a high-intensity xenon strobe that is visible over 9km, and a low power torch for reading instructions. Two AA batteries provide continuous operation for 12 hours in strobe mode and 60 hours in torch mode.
