LG Partners intends to install AOT along the entire length of the pipeline after obtaining the governmental approvals, and the necessary financing to commence and complete construction of the pipeline.
LG Partners managing partner and CEO Michael B. Leader said it is expected that the AOT technology will be central to the future efficient operation of the company’s pipeline.
"The first test showed improved flow efficiency above 13%, as stated by the United States Department of Energy," added Leader.
LG Partners is currently developing the non-domestic, multi-national pipeline to transport medium and heavy crude oil to markets currently with a lack of diverse pipeline suppliers.
The multinational pipeline is designed to be 42" in diameter, with a transport capacity of 30 to 60 million tons of crude oil per year, or 600,000 to 1.2 million barrels per day.
