With this announcement, LED Power has integrated a major leadership component devoted to offering oversight, governance, vision, confidence, experience and integrity intended at allowing the company to move quickly towards the execution of its critical first phase of development in rapidly growing light emitting diode (LED) manufacturing segment of consumer and the industrial lighting sector.
Tay is presently the president of China Tel and was previously co-founder and a director of VelociTel, Inc. and VelociTel, LLC until 2001. In this capacity, he was also engaged with the network design and build-out of more than 20,000 wireless facilities in the US and abroad. Some of his more notable projects have incorporated Terminal II of Singapore’s Changi Airport, the Thamrin Commercial Plaza in Indonesia, the China World Trade Center, MRT Stations for the Taiwan’s rapid transit system, the Kaohsiung Linden Hotel and international data center for ACER Computer.
George Alvarez is currently the chief executive officer (CEO) of China Tel Earlier he was co-founder of TrussGroup, Ltd. in 1993, and co-founder, president, chief operating officer (COO) and a director of VelociTel, Inc., VelociTel, LLC and their predecessor company until 2001. In this capacity, he was involved with the network design and build-out of more than 20,000 wireless facilities in the US and abroad. He currently serves on the board of directors of China Tel.
Jennings has owned and operated investment associated businesses since 1996. During the past five years as CEO, he has grown the company from a few small funds to a multi-million dollar private investment and lending company. He recently served on the board of directors of China Tel and is a manager and/or director of a variety of Westmoore entities.
Mario Alvarez is the current COO of China Tel and was previously related with Trussnet USA as both an executive director and principal architect since its formation. Before this, he was chairman and CEO, a director and the co-founder of VelociTel, LLC. In that capacity, he directed the VelociTel group from its formation as a portion of his architectural practice into a multi-national organization with hundreds of employees throughout the world. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the Construction Specifications Institute. He is a licensed architect in 49 states. He received his B.A. in Architecture from University of Washington and his M.A. in Architecture from University of Idaho. In the course of his architectural and construction career, Alvarez has been involved in the construction of many billion dollars worth of telecommunications, commercial and residential projects. He currently serves on the board of directors of China Tel.
