Australia-based exploration company Lamboo Resources recorded indicated and inferred resources containing 262,400 tons of graphite at its McIntosh graphite project in Western Australia.

The resource is said to be in compliance with JORC code at target 1 of 5,323,000 tons with 4.91% total graphitic carbon (TGC) over a strike length of 400 meters. Also, it added that the current resource was represents only 10% of the interpreted strike length of the host graphite horizons at target 1.

The JORC code compliance was recorded from drill hole array at target 1 that comprises 17 RC and diamond drill holes with varied spacing of 20 meters to 50 meters.

Meanwhile, it has undertaken studies to explore the potential for flake graphite resources in compliance with JORC at target 2 and 3, besides planning to continue the drilling at targets 1, 5 and 6.

It is aiming to further the global JORC code compliant resource by two-folds in the short-term.
