The modules will be manufactured at Kyocera’s San Diego facility and will produce 73,000kWH of clean energy for the center.

Vista Mayor Judy Ritter remarked that the installation will bring in significant energy savings for the city besides long term economic benefits.

Delta Solar Electric senior solar energy consultant Van Parseghian concluded, "Vista can get very hot in the summer, and it is important that our seniors have a place to escape the mid-day heat without the concern of a high energy bill."
