The company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Kromet Solar Inc, will supply Sharp panels in addition to Kromet solar racking systems, which are manufactured in its facilities in Cambridge and Hamilton, Ontario.
Sharp panels, which use silicon refined in Ontario are compliant with the 2011 Ontario FIT content rules.
Kromet Solar’s racking system, which is used to mount the solar panels and provide the optimal tilt angle, complements the Sharp panels and is also fully compliant with domestic content requirements.
Kromet Solar will supply the 230W and 235W polycrystalline modules from Sharp.
Kromet Solar will provide local service and support for its customers including site assessment and installation support.
