KPTL has signed a contract with Sonelgaz for the turnkey construction of 220kV transmission lines of 100km and 60kV lines of 120km. The combined value of both the projects is INR1bn and completion period for the different lines vary from 12 to 15 months.
The company has also received another order from TNEB for commissioning of a 400kV D/C MTPS-ARASUR line on turnkey basis. The project is worth approximately INR1.54bn and the scope of the work includes design, type testing of towers, supply, erection, stringing and testing. The project needs to be completed within 18 months.
KPTL said that its order book is in the range of INR55bn crores, excluding L1 orders which has to be executed over the next two to three years.
