Kier International, part of the UK-based Kier Group, has won a contract in a joint venture with CCC Group to manage a cyclone station and maintain tailings reservoirs for two years.
Kier will be responsible for maintaining the cyclone station and the tailings reservoirs, to which waste material suspended in water is transported during the copper refining process. From the tailings reservoirs it is then pumped to the cyclone station, which removes the suspended waste from the water.
