Under the deal, Keppel will offer engineering, technology and construction management support services for the Repsol Ca Rong Do Tension Leg Wellhead Platform (TLWP).

PTSC M&C, a service subsidiary of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), is the prime engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contractor for the production platform.

The project will become the first three-column TLWP in the offshore oil and gas industry of the country, when installed.

The scope of the work for wellhead platform include hull and mooring engineering, topsides basic engineering, in addition to construction management support services.

Once the construction on the project completes, the TLWP will be deployed in the Ca Rong Do field development offshore southern Vietnam

The complete field development plan include the construction of a TLWP, tender assisted drilling (TAD) vessel and floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.

With locating in a water depth of 320m, the platform can accommodate 20 wells, including oil production, water injection and gas injection.
