The C4AE Series offers new 600 VDC and 105 degrees C ambient temperature ranges as well as smaller case sizes to meet the requirements of modern solar microinverters and inverter-driven LED systems.
KEMET AC Film Product Management director Antonio Sanua said KEMET’s C4AE high capacitance density capacitors are ideally suited for applications that demand high ripple current, extra long life and outstanding quality and reliability capabilities.
"Solar inverters, AC motor drives, welding machines, LED lighting and other high-growth markets can all benefit from this product enhancement," Sanua said.
The expanded C4AE Series has the voltage of 450 -1,100 VDC and capacitance of 1.5-100µF.
KEMET is a manufacturer of tantalum, ceramic, aluminum, film, paper and electrolytic capacitors.
