This appointment is part of KBR’s objective to strengthen its global operations within the engineering and construction industry serving the oil and gas and petrochemical industries.
Mr Mabuza has extensive experience in the South African engineering and construction industry serving the energy and petrochemical industries. He is also a past chairman of the Services Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA). KBR noted that, as chairman of SETA, he represented the organization internationally and worked to ensure that the skills needs of the services sector in South Africa were identified and addressed.
