Under the contract, KBR will oversee scheduling, estimating and construction management for water and sewage projects ranging from $50,940 to $2m.
Unitywater COO George Theo said the company has secured the three-year contract following a rigorous and transparent tendering process.
"Our priority is to use locally-based staff, and KBR personnel will be working out of our Unitywater regional offices to oversee delivery of important infrastructure upgrades that will cater for future growth and help safeguard the health of the community and the environment," Theo said.
