China-based solar product manufacturer JinkoSolar has delivered modules to a 5MW photovoltaic (PV) solar project in Gujarat, India, in partnership with Sunkon Energy.

The solar project, which has 17,886 poly-crystalline modules installed, is anticipated to generate 8,030MWh of electricity annually, reducing 7,882 tons of CO2 emissions.

Commenting on the project, JinkoSolar chief marketing officer Arturo Herrero said that the company has sold PV modules of around 80MW capacity in total till date.

"Armed with a highly skilled and devoted team in India, we are ensuring our customers are provided with reliable products, competitive conditions and excellent local services from our professionals in Delhi and Mumbai," added Herrero.

JinkoSolar distributes its photovoltaic products to a diversified customer base in the global PV market, including Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain, the United States, France, Eastern Europe, China, India, Japan and other countries and regions.
