The new manufacturing facility is set to produce solar panels that can annually produce 1.5GW of power.
According to JA Solar the new facility will have fully automated assembly lines that use latest manufacturing technologies. It will be capable of producing both 60 and 72 cell modules.
The Chinese company says that there are stringers installed with artificial intelligence capable of switching soldering configurations between four busbars and five busbars of cell contact patterns.
All the assembly lines in the facility are capable of making both regular modules and double-glass modules and can easily switch between the two types of moduels. JA Solar is planning to produce a per capita of 2MW of modules.
The company claims this as the highest in the industry and full automation can also increase the production significantly.
At the new facility, the company plans to have all the functional sections which include module assembly, test and measurement, stockrooms and warehouses under one roof to make it more energy efficient and to reduce time between each stage of operations.
JA Solar CEO and executive chairman of the board Baofang Jin said: "The grand opening of our fully automated module manufacturing facility in Xingtai marks JA Solar taking one step forward in terms of intelligent manufacturing.
